Iron Goddess of Mercy

Tie Guan Yin also known as 'Tie Kuan Yin' translates into 'Iron Goddess of Mercy'. It is the most famous of all Chinese Oolongs. This superior grade tea comes from the Fujian province in China. Jade green in colour, the leaves are hand rolled into uneven balls which unfurl into beautiful whole leaves when steeped. The amber liquor produces an enchanting orchid like aroma and leaves a sweet after taste.

This is what Oolong should be

I’ve had many versions of this tea - and this example so so lovely, strong and simple. Good for waking up, or bringing on another wave of focussed energy after lunch. A tea to help you think deeply
