They also taste amazing when blended with lemongrass, ginger and honey to make a comforting drink for winter. Try it cold as well.

Studies have shown the leaves to possess antimicrobial effect against the bacteria that causes tooth decay and gum disease, thus promoting oral health. Traditionally they are used as a home made relief for cold and flu.
