While Assam is renowned for its rich and robust black teas, this exceptional green tea offers a fresher and more delicate expression of this celebrated tea-growing region.
The beautifully long and wiry leaves are carefully hand pan-fried in small batches, a process that gently heats the freshly harvested leaves to prevent oxidation while preserving their fresh character and nuanced flavours. The striking appearance of the whole leaves, together with the hands-on production and very limited quantities, makes this a truly special Assam tea.
Upon infusing, the long leaves gradually unfurl, producing a clear, golden-green liquor with a smooth and refreshing flavour. Gentle vegetal notes are complemented by a subtle natural sweetness and a pleasantly clean, mellow finish.

How to enjoy this tea
Steep 1 to 1.5 tsp per cup for 2 - 3 mins in 80 - 85 deg C water.
For best results follow these steps:
1. Place 1 tsp of tea per cup in a teapot or mug with an infuser. As the leaves are long and wiry, give them plenty of room to unfurl.
2. Allow freshly boiled water to cool slightly before pouring it over the leaves. Using water at around 80 - 85 deg C helps bring out the delicate flavours without making the tea bitter.
3. Allow the tea to steep for 2 - 3 minutes. Based on your taste preferences, you can steep for a longer or shorter period.
4. Pour the tea into teacups and enjoy.
