Grown in the high mountainous regions of Taiwan (previously named Formosa), this tea is named for its beautiful deep green, jade coloured leaves. The leaves are partially oxidised under a carefully controlled environment to help develop the most amazing flavours and slightly fruity fragrance. When brewed, this tea yields a smooth, rich, golden liquor with a delicate mouthfeel. The flavour of the tea is mellow and subtly sweet with slightly toasted grain undertones providing a wonderful nuttiness. The tightly rolled pearls of tea can be brewed multiple times
Premium Oolong tea
Steep 1 teaspoon per cup for 2 - 3 mins in 85-90° C fresh water. Do not add milk.
