Red Thunder - Loose Black Tea
This gorgeous tea is unlike any Darjeeling ever before. Although the dry leaf has the typical floral aroma of a Darjeeling, when brewed, it is dark and full bodied with sweet date and fig notes and an almost buttery viscosity. These unique flavours are produced when the leaves begin to wilt on the plant due to the frosts of autumn and are partly oxidised on the plant itself before being picked up and processed.
